The Director of Business Development position is a full-time employment opportunity. This role will drive pipeline growth through identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, building relevant contacts, and conducting industry research. You will represent Command Education’s brand and be at the forefront of the sales process. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the luxury consumer with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive, and track record of success.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Seek out new partnership opportunities to grow Command Education’s visibility through strategy,market research, cold calling, and networking.
  • Build partnerships with qualified schools, professional associations, clubs, etc.
  • Identify, and contact decision-makers to generate potential partnership opportunities like events, thought leadership talks, and customized programming in niche markets.
  • Achieve and/or exceed established sales targets based on an incentive plan.
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline.
  • Create custom presentations and offerings.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups to keep the pulse on the decision-making process and help influence the decision to partner with Command Education.
  • Experiment with different sales and follow-up strategies. You must have the ability to try new directions and be willing to expand service offerings.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to drive cross-team efforts to maximize business opportunities as well as ensure best in the class experience.
  • Keep a pulse on the market and competitive landscape while working directly with the VP of Enrollment on setting the right offerings.

The ideal candidate should possess

  • 5-7 years’ experience of business development/sales experience
  • A proven track record of results-oriented success and/or phenomenal customer service.
  • Experience or strong aptitude for developing and maintaining relationships with schools, private membership communities, membership clubs, professional organizations, etc. International experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand industry trends and challenges, market dynamics and translate them into solutions and/or offerings that exceed expectations and result in a positive return on investment.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flexibility – Whatever it takes to get the job done!
  • The ability to work in a team environment (must play nice in the sandbox!).
  • A global mindset is very important. The candidate needs to be comfortable speaking with partners all over the world and understand the challenges of applying to a US college as an international student.

The Director of Sales and Enrollment position is a full-time employment opportunity. The Director will have a strong ownership mindset to drive revenue growth via inbound sales while building and supporting sales operations. You will represent Command Education’s brand and be at the forefront of the sales process. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the luxury consumer with the right energy, competitive spirit, personal drive, and track record of success.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Lead a consultation call (inbound) with parents and students to understand needs, educate and advise on Command Education and our offerings

  • Drive timely follow-ups to keep the pulse on prospects’ decision-making process and help them decide on choosing Command Education

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets

  • Experiment with different sales and follow-up strategies–you must have the ability to try new directions and be willing to expand service offerings

  • Work closely with marketing and mentoring teams to drive cross-team efforts to maximize business opportunities as well as ensure best in the class experience

  • Proactively contact clients to discuss mentoring and tutoring renewal options as well as potentially identifying upsell opportunities to existing clients

  •  Utilize tools for the organization of leads, email templates, and all communication with prospective clients

  • Maintain excellent data integrity by updating contact information, lead status, deal stage, meeting outcomes, and notes

  • Prepare invoices and service agreements for new and existing clients

  • Handle new student onboarding and customer support as needed

  • Keep a pulse on the market and competitive landscape while working directly with the VP of Enrollment on setting the right offerings.

  • 5-7 years’ experience of doing inbound sales in a service-focused category with sales cycles of less than 1-3 months

  • A proven track record of results-oriented success and/or phenomenal customer service experience

General job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Mentoring a select number of high school students and providing high-touch assistance with all aspects of the college admissions process, including (but not limited to):

  • Providing guidance/feedback on college lists, essays, scholarships, and applications
  • Conducting interview prep, resume revision, and summer program/internship search assistance
  • Strategizing course selection, extracurriculars, and volunteer opportunities
  • Forging strong mentor-mentee relationships and helping students develop academically, personally, and emotionally
  • Guiding students through personal project and extracurricular development
  • Building detailed 12-month and multi-year roadmaps for students

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree from an Ivy League or top-tier college
  • Excellent organizational skills, focus, can-do mentality, and attention to detail

  • Extremely strong reading, writing, and editing skills

Command Education is currently seeking full-time instructors who can teach all sections of the SAT and ACT to join our test preparation team. This position is full-time and remote. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assessing students’ academic strengths and weaknesses from diagnostic tests and initial sessions
  • Developing a custom tutoring timeline and roadmap for each student
  • Conducting one-on-one and group online lessons in ACT English, Math, Reading, and Science and SAT Reading, Writing/Language, and Math
  • Preparing, assigning, and grading all assignments, tests, and quizzes
  • Sending follow up notes with a summary of the session after each session
  • Attending weekly student overview meetings and professional development trainings on a quarterly basis
  • Developing new materials/content and supporting team members on creating shared resources
  • Staying up-to-date on new developments to standardized test requirements from top schools

Requirements:

  • Completion of a BA/BS degree from an Ivy League or top-tier college
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
  • Must be able to teach all sections of the SAT and ACT
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Has strong interests in education and developmental psychology
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small, high-functioning team
  • Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills along with excellent follow-through
  • Has strong work ethic, ethics, integrity, and accountability
