Former Admissions Officer at MIT & Boston College

Katie brings nearly two decades of selective admissions and counseling experience to her work with prospective college applicants. She began her career evaluating candidates inside the admissions offices at MIT and Boston College before stepping into the role of Director of College and School Counseling at an elite Boston-area private school.

Over the past decade, Katie has guided students as both a school-based advisor and an independent educational consultant.

She has extensive experience supporting students targeting Ivy League, Ivy+ and other highly selective universities, with a sophisticated understanding of how these institutions evaluate academic achievement, extracurricular distinction, intellectual interests, and overall application narrative.

Her students have earned admission to Ivy League and other top universities, and she combines her firsthand admissions experience with years of successful IEC work to help students build thoughtful, highly competitive applications.
