Ava graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Northwestern University, where she studied English and Biological Sciences. As an undergraduate, she received the Shuman Award for the best English Major in her class year. She also served as the Managing Editor of the Northwestern Undergraduate Law Journal and a member of the editorial staff for the literary magazine Helicon.

Ava is passionate about using her writing and editing skills to help students discover what they want to say, and how best to say it, in order to craft the most compelling applications. Prior to joining Command, she worked as an admissions specialist at Fusion Academy, providing one-on-one support for students to navigate the college application process and write compelling essays. Ava finds the most rewarding aspect of working with students is guiding them to uncover what is most distinctive about their story and shape it into an authentic, cohesive narrative that stands out throughout the admissions process.
