Merrily Bodell is President of Command Education, where she leads the firm’s growth and ongoing evolution as a premier provider of high-touch, mentorship-driven guidance for students and families.
With more than two decades of experience in education and leadership, Merrily has built and scaled organizations focused on delivering exceptional outcomes and client experience. She spent over a decade in senior leadership at a leading college admissions consulting firm, helping to scale operations, expand services, and elevate the overall client experience, and previously held leadership roles at The Princeton Review, where she oversaw multi-site operations, strategic planning, product and team development.
Her work centers on advancing a mentorship model that combines thoughtful strategy with hands-on execution, helping students achieve strong admissions outcomes while developing the direction, confidence, and skills for long-term success.
Merrily holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. She serves as Board Chair of School the World and as a board member of the Soundview Empowerment Alliance.
