Dagan graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and Psychology before earning a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a concentration in Poetry from Johns Hopkins University. A published author, Dagan’s work has appeared in publications such as The Poetry Project journal, Hopkins Review, and The Brooklyn Rail. While pursuing his MFA, Dagan served as an adjunct faculty member teaching undergraduate poetry courses and helping students apply to graduate school. It was through his teaching experience that Dagan discovered his passion for mentoring students. As a Command Education Senior Mentor, Dagan has helped students earn admission into top schools like Columbia, Georgetown, Northwestern, and Brown, receive Scholastic Art and Writing awards, and gain acceptance to John Locke Institute courses and the Wharton Global Youth Program.
