For Middle School Students
Mentorship that builds the foundation for long-term academic and personal success.

Our middle school advising services introduce middle school students to the mentorship model that defines Command Education, beginning a long-term partnership that continues through high school and the college admissions process. Starting earlier gives students the time to experiment, pursue emerging interests, and develop a strong relationship with their mentor, creating the foundation for meaningful academic and extracurricular growth.

Preparing Students for What Comes Next
At the middle school stage, mentors focus on cultivating the core proficiencies that equip students to thrive as academic and extracurricular demands expand. With the support of their mentor, students develop executive functioning skills, strengthen academic proficiencies, and begin exploring interests that may later evolve into deeper intellectual pursuits or extracurricular leadership in high school.
By starting early, students gain the time and flexibility to test ideas, pursue projects, and discover the interests that may ultimately shape their academic and extracurricular trajectory.
Just as importantly, this stage lays the groundwork for the years that follow. As students progress into high school, Command’s mentorship evolves with them, shifting toward deeper academic engagement, leadership development, application strategy development, and the articulation of guiding passions.
Because this work begins early, students are able to build depth and distinction over time, transforming early interests into sustained engagement, leadership, and a cohesive body of work that shapes both admissions outcomes and long-term direction.
