Our Top 3 Tips For Getting Recruited In This Sport
- Given that around 3 scholarships are given out per class, it is important to get into touch with coaches early before roster space and scholarship money runs out at the school of your dreams.
- Gain exposure by having a great highlight reel, playing on a competitive club team, and making sure that you are attending national events that are attended by a majority of college coaches as an individual or part of a club.
- Field Hockey is a small community, so coaches commonly contact high school and club coaches as references. Make sure you are building strong relationships with your coaches and being the type of player and person they’d recommend as a recruit.
