Sam graduated from the University of Chicago, where he studied Film and Neuroscience. During his college career, he was the captain of the Varsity Track & Field team and the guitarist for the University’s Jazz Combo. He also worked as the website designer for a Pulitzer-winning journalist and as a producer for the Big Brains podcast. Before joining the Command Education team, he served as both a tutor for the Chicago Public Schools system and a mentor to Pittsburgh high schoolers applying to the University of Chicago. Sam has been providing mentorship to individuals of all ages for over eight years, and he brings his diverse educational background to his work with students at Command Education.
