Preliminary Standardized Tests
Senior Tutors begin working with students as early as 7th grade to build the skills necessary for success on preliminary standardized tests, with the end goal of taking the PSAT in 10th and 11th grade, and qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship with the 11th grade sitting.
Secondary School Entrance Exams

Tutors and Mentors work with their students to determine the optimal time during sophomore or junior year to begin studying for standardized tests.
Diagonsotics and Tutor Matching
Students take both ACT and SAT diagnostic tests. Students are matched with a tutor based on the students’ strengths and weaknesses.
Testing Plan Creation
The tutor, Senior Mentor, and student work collaboratively to select the ACT or SAT and determine a target score. Students benefit from a studying and test-taking schedule tailored to their needs.
Tutors teach content and strategy lessons based on each test section as needed, targeting instruction to improve students’ weaknesses and sharpen their strengths.
