Matt earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia University and an M.A. in Bioethics at NYU. During college, was inducted into the Honor Society, won the Arrow Memorial Scholarship, published in “Gadfly” undergrad philosophy magazine, and had his poems displayed at the Columbia Arts and Research Collective. In the years since graduating, he has continued to publish original works, including a poem in the first issue of Edge City. He brings years of educational experience to his role at Command Education, including expertise teaching ESOL classes, coaching on executive functioning skills, and guiding students through standardized test preparation. All of Matt’s former students have earned admission into one of their top schools and improved their standardized test scores by over 5 composite points.
